iPhone 4G was first rumored to be released sometime this summer. But it seems that it’ll not be ready until Q2 2011 due to the 4G chip will only be shipped next year. And the rumor claims iPhone 4G is the “real 4G” that will include 4th generation communication such as LTE and WiMax.

According to MacVideo in their encounter with Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Lars Johnson from Beceem, a 4G chip called BCS5000, which is being developed by Beceem will only be shipped to manufacturers for mass production until Q2 of 2011. And iPhone 4G is likely adopting this 4G chip to provide the super high-speed of 4G connectivity.

This is of course good news for the iPhone users, with the capability of 4G connectivity, the iPhone 4G will be able to enjoy super high speeds of 4G between 100-150 Mbps. The bad news is you’ll have to wait for another year for the iPhone 4G as the Beceem claims that the 4G chip and its components will only be shipped sometime in Q2 2011. So, if iPhone 4G was to use this 4G chip, it’d only be released after the 4G chip had become available.

Now there are two versions of the release date for the iPhone 4G. One claims to be June/July 2010 and another will be sometime in Q2 next year (2011). Would Apple proceed to release iPhone 4G without including the super-fast 4G chip sometime this summer?

The Puma Phone looks pretty similar to the Palm Pre but without the slider. It comes equipped with a solar panel that makes it great to be rechargeable anywhere as long as sunlight is available. The phone allows 2 hours of music playback or sending of 30 messages after it’s got charged under “medium sunlight” for an hour. A full charge will give you 5 hours of talk time, 350 hours of standby and 24 hours of music playback.

The Puma Phone features a 2.8 inch screen which is rather small but Puma claims the UI is “thumbable” that ensures a single-handed operation. The phone also includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS with tracking and Geo-tagging capabilities, Blueotooth, Pedometer, 3D Accelerometer, stopwatch and cycle tracker. Apparently it’s a phone aimed for geeks with intensive outdoor sports activities.

The Puma Phone also comes with built-in FM radio, which can pull live sports feed from Puma World and mCommerce. It’s also loaded with an app that allows the users to customize and order new gears and things from Puma online shop. The music player on this Puma Phone also adds little fun, showing a software vinyl player when the music plays, allowing the users to Virtual Scratch the tunes. It’s due in April and should be priced around the £250 (about $394 USD) mark.

Besides the mentioned, the Samsung Wave also comes equipped with many distinguished features such as it’s powered by a 1GHz processor, backed by smooth 3D and memory-intenstive graphics and video performance. The Wave supports various codecs including DivX, Xvid, MP4 and WMV. It also supports the virtual 5.1 surround sound.

The Samsung Wave is also a social hub, which it’s been loaded with applications that allow you to connect to all major portal’s emails, IM and SNS services. With the TouchWiz 3.0 UI, you’ll be able to access to social media sites (Facebook, Twitter) with ease, which you can easily customize the phone’s homepage by widgets for easy access.

From how it looks in the leaked picture, the LG Arena Max LU9400 has been emphasized with cute design elements that make it a charmer. It would come with a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and sport WiFi, GPS capabilities and powered by the 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

No other further details yet about the specs and the image isn’t clear enough to show what OS it runs. No word on where and when it’ll be launched. The phone shows Cyon logo – LG’s Korean phone brand, which might hint it’d be launched in Korea only.

The GT350 is expected to hit the Europe in April with other markets to follow thereafter. The price is unknown. Motorola Motoroi is the latest Android 2.0 smart phone of Motorola, which has been launched in Korea as the first Android phone of Moto in the country. During the launch in Korea, Moto Korea head honcho Rick Wolochatiuk also confirmed the handset would be launched in other markets around the world. And now, it’s been confirmed that the Motoroi will hit the US shelves in March.

Motorola Motoroi is a smart phone that features a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen, an 8-megapixel camera, with GSM connectivity and 720p HD video recording capability and HDMI output. And it allows you to tune into the T-DMB television, which is a common feature seen on most phones in Korea. But for the US version, the T-DMB tuning will mostly be stripped out. The Google Nexus One phone was built by HTC, but rumors say that Google could be partnering with another manufacturer for making the Nexus Two phone. The speculation was raised due to both Google and Motorola were at the same talk a week ago, where Google Executive, Andy Rubin, talked about the Nexus phone and Motorola talked about the importance of Android and the flagship devices.

So, if the rumors are true, the Google Nexus Two will be a QWERTY slider smart phone with large screen. Rumors also suggest that it’ll aim at the corporates or possibly compete with the Blackberry and its Enterprise Server. Anyway, all these are just rumors, nothing is official yet.

Audiovox has come up with a remote control hub, called Zentral, which allows Bluetooth-enabled phones to work as a remote control for various gadgets in your home. The Zentral receives signals from the smart phone via Bluetooth and translate the signals into IR commands to beam to your home entertainment (TV, stereo, home theater etc) and automation systems.

The AirStash has a USB connector on one side and a SD card slot on the other. So, you should be able to hook up a USB flash drive or an SD memory card to increase the storage of your iPhone or iPod Touch. You can have your iPhone to wirelessly grab the data stored on the AirStash’s memory.

There is still little information about the AirStash such as the security protocols, battery life, compatibility etc. But it’s definitely a handy one if you have an old version of the iPhone or iPod Touch. Simply keep AirStash in your pocket with a memory card or USB drive connected, you can have more storage for your clips and files. More info of AirStash will be revealed at CES.
