Windows Mobile 6.1 OS has got itself with plenty of rumors floating around over the past few weeks. And now there seems to be a confirmation that this new mobile OS is making its way to the market on the April Fools day. Hope this is not another joke for the April Fools.

The Windows Mobile 6.1 won't be the full new version but it’s given with several improments over the current version 6.0. The M8 was first said to feature a 533MHz Samsung ARM processor, a 2.6-inch screen & loaded with the Windows CE OS.

This is something that we’ve seldom seen before , i.e an MP3 player with Windows CE loaded. Due its “imitation of design” of the iPhone, the touch-screen feature is difinitely a must.

GSM, camera, Windows CE loaded? A smartphone? A PDA ? I guess it could be a change of direction by Meizu in to producing an iPhone clone in lieu of only an MP3 player due to the overwhelming buzz of iPhone. Will Apple take any action on this ?
